Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) Kaduna

Royal Tech International Ltd. was Consultant to Nigerian Air Force between 2006 – 2010. We facilitated the successful transformation of Technical Training Group (TTG) to Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna. Some metallurgical and mechanical engineering laboratories and workshops were revamped and new foundry was built in the (TTG). We were members of Board of Governors, Search Team and Selection Board for the pioneer Provost of AFIT. We crafted the Five-Year Strategic Plan: 2010 – 2015 for AFIT.

We have revamped electroplating workshop shown in plate 1.

We also revamped the mechanical engineering workshops and laboratory which include those shown in plates 2 - 3

Besides, metallurgical laboratories were revamped and these include Heat-treatment shop.

Public Private Partnership

Royal Tech International Ltd. was appointed Mineral Engineering Consultant for the National Mining Workshop organized in Abuja, Nigeria in 2006 by Benson Idahosa University (Private University) in collaboration with Raw Materials Research and Development Council (Public Parastatal). The workshop brought a wake-up call for the Mining/Mineral/Metallurgical Industry in Nigeria.

Public Service

Royal Tech International Ltd. served as a member of the National Committee to review 2008 Draft Mining Regulations. We studied the 2008 Draft Mining Regulation with a view to ascertaining whether they addressed all issues necessary for regulating the Nigerian Mining Industry. We examined the various fees/royalties prescribed in the regulations and established the adequacy or otherwise in line with global best practice. The committee assignment was adjudged successful.
We also co-chaired the resource person appointed by the Head of Service for e-learning for officers on GL 08-17 in the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development.

Engineering and Professional Services

As a member of Board of Engineering Profession Resources Development Ltd, the Chairman of Royal Tech International Ltd was given the assignment of preparing the Corporate Policy and Operational Strategy for the new Engineering outfit- Engineering Practice Resource Development Ltd (EPRD).
He was a resource person for training programmes in:
i) Technical Report Writing and Presentation between June 11-13, 2013 at Port-Harcourt, Nigeria and September 3-5, 2013, National Engineering Centre, Abuja.
ii) Engineering Failure Analysis and Post Structure Failure Reactivation (fire, explosion, flood and collapse) Ikoyi, Lagos State.
